How is content for the regular Chapters Financial newsletter created?

10 April 2025

Clients of Chapters Financial will be familiar with our regular newsletter, produced around four times a year, and usually for each quarter highlighting topical news, changes and views in the world of personal finance and owner-director business owners.

We believe that the service that we offer as Chartered Financial Planners and independent financial advisers is bespoke and personalised, and this we also believe is reflected in our newsletters, which are written in-house to reflect the demographics of our client base.

Like many good things, it takes time, energy, focus and effort to get the end publication right. Often, there are events such as the annual Budget, the start or end of a tax year, or the Spring Statement, to focus on, along with other more global events or occurrences, such as tariffs and sadly conflicts which add into the mix and affect fund values, inflation and growth amongst many other components that add to the financial planning that we offer.

Preparing the Chapters Financial newsletter usually takes approximately two months, with the team's aim of capturing the topical and relevant topics that we add in to our text. And these details are collected from the news, market data, client interactions, from our daily reading of all things financial, or continuing professional development (CPD), along with legislative changes either announced, or being implemented a few months later. Topics can come from many sources and that's great to keep the newsletter focused. You might also guess that the cover picture changes to reflect the seasons.

Varying the headline topics can be a challenge. It's never usually about products, such as a pension or bond. It's about relevant financial subjects and how they interact with clients' financial planning and any changes that they may want to make. Readers of this blog will know that we are advocates of regular reviews to ensure that overall objectives are in line with future aspirations.

If you would like a copy, or extra copy, of our newsletter, then please let the team know and we can send one accordingly. We hope that you enjoy the read, and new ideas from our readers (although not guaranteed to be included) are welcome in keeping our publication relevant and topical.

Our latest production has just been issued ahead of the Easter holiday.Have a great break ahead, whatever you have planned.
