We are 17! Happy Birthday Chapters Financial
04 October 2021I remember well reaching the age of 17. My Mum plonked me in her silver estate car at 7am, handed me the keys and said to me 'it's time to drive!' I was not short of a few driving skills; however, I was completing my first handbrake hill start within 20 minutes in a residential street in central Guildford. How time flies!
Reaching the age of 17 as a business is a humbling experience, especially after the recent business 'headwinds' of the pandemic (I appreciate this is an understatement for many). Guildford has always been our base and has been a truly dynamic place to trade from; we are grateful for the support of the residents and businesses in the immediate locality and further afield. It has been great to be part of the community.
Many readers of our regular blogs will know that we are looking forward to moving into our new HQ at the top end of Tunsgate (Shaw House), in central Guildford at the end of this year and into the decade ahead. Roll on our 20th and 25th business anniversaries, hopefully without any more business 'hill-starts' such as those experienced by all in the last eighteen months!
We have continued to maintain our offer of independent financial advice over the years and will maintain this position as we make our office move within central Guildford and look to evolve the business still further.
