Regrets...I’ve had a few!

15 August 2018

Regret is never a good emotion to harbour. Indeed, correcting a regret can be one of the most satisfying and personal things that anyone can achieve. Invariably, we all have a regret from the past, big or small, and some circumstances a correction is not possible, only reflection on what could have been.

Personal regrets can be bigger than monetary regrets, and sometimes they can interweave, creating possibly a worse situation. If a mythical magic wand could be waved and you could go back to one place in time and make a different choice or an alternative approach to 'X' money planning, what and when would 'X' be? You may know that as financial planners we can do wonderful things, but sadly not time travel.

Money and money planning usually involves two main factors; money and time. So, what would you go back and change? Perhaps you would have welcomed a relationship with a trusted Financial Planner that you could have contacted to get their view, opinion and advice on a topic that you knew little of then...but know a lot about now!

With our business approaching its fourteenth birthday, and with our team having delivered nearly fifty years of service in UK retail financial services, there aren't many subjects in money planning that we have not seen. We can help with many aspects of the financial planning spectrum, and have a range of varied professional contacts with whom we can put our clients in contact if we are limited on the knowledge needed. We have no magic wands, just good quality financial advice, implementation and review.

Our overall message in this Chapters Financial blog is simple. Don't have money regrets, have a Financial Planner to help meet your objectives and future aspirations. The team at Chapters Financial look forward to speaking to you soon.

No individual advice is provided during the course of this blog.
